“We’ve been friends since we were 13.”
“What’s the most fun you’ve ever had together?”
“Oh, we don’t know…”

I've read that all the actresses said that they were treated badly by the network. Do you know any more details?

It was mainly when the show moved over to The CW. I know that despite their high ratings they were always over looked. Charmed was that show whose time slot was moved all the time without any care. I was young but to my memory Charmed had very little promotion. I see more Charmed previews on Oxygen than I ever remember seeing on The CW. In an interview, Rose McGowan said despite them being ranked in the top 3 consistently in ratings, they were treated like the “ugly step-child.” I also read that Charmed’s demographic was in the early 20s to 49 area, and so the WB forced Kern and his staff to “dumb down and sex up” to get “coveted” younger viewers (which meant the WB could make more money off the show by offering advertisers a time slot). However, the opposite happened. A majority of viewers, both younger and older, stopped watching in the later years because the show changed so much from what made them enjoy it so much at the beginning. Then due to the change in tone it didn’t attract to the younger viewers and the ratings weren’t as large as the original audience. Charmed was also consistently having their budgets cut.
